An absolutely fabulous gold watch chain from the Art Nouveau (1900s) era! Extremely long in length, this wonderful piece is comprised of simple 18kt yellow gold cable links, coming together to create a delicate yet weighty flowing design. The chain does not have a fastening clasp, however, due to its extensive length, it can easily slip on overhead and be worn doubled or even tripled. At the center of the chain is a spring ring clasp which allows one to attach a complementary pendant or locket if desired and the link that connects to the spring ring clasp has several French hallmarks including an eagle's head, verifying its 18kt gold purity. This beautifully crafted chain necklace would be a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.

Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 62" long and is approximately 1/8" wide. It has an overall weight of 18.4 grams.

Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold links or to the clasp, which is in good working condition.
